Think of us as The Butterfly, and Art of Finance? The Caterpillar.
In other words, we're still here! Same great folks. We just grew, changed, and upgraded, like, everything. For a better experience, and a message (and brand, let's be real) that truly represents who we are, who we want to be, and frankly, who we've gotten to work with over the years!
No one ever asks "gee what happened to that caterpillar?" when they see the butterfly, so we're hoping you'll feel the same :)
Too long, AmIRite??
Just kidding. We love doing this as much as when we started.
Which, if you wanna know, was back in...hang on... lots of dusty files....
Whoa. 2010! That's 15 years. That's quite a while, wouldn't you say?
Oh, just our little PBS show about financial education. We gotta couple of awards for it, no big deal ;)
It's actually something we're super proud of! We care a LOT about financial literacy and helping people understand the complex and oppressive systems all around us.
So we hooked up with PBS and now we get to talk about really wild, important concepts. Plus it's available for free, for everyone.
That's kinda big for us! More about it here >
For us, the sky (or the sun?) is the limit on that one.
Finance touches just about every aspect of modern life. So, naturally, we feel that financial planning should be able to deal with...every aspect of modern life!

On top of this, there's an initial onboarding fee as well.
Generally, it's $500K of investable assets, yeah. But...
If that's not entirely you just yet, you should still reach out to us!
We want to be a reliable and helpful resource, so we'll point you in the right direction if we can't directly support you.
'fraid so.
It's a core part of our planning relationship and approach, and we've found that without this aspect, a lot of things that we plan for just...don't get done. Emotions or life get in the way (or mistakes, yipes!).
And we feel like that's a bummer. So if you want to be a part of the Solstice community, asset transfer is required.
Well, we can plan year-round to reduce your tax burden! But...
Sorry, we don't do tax preparation. It's just not our thang.
But we have some pretty superb relationships with quality CPAs that we'd be delighted to connect you to if you need that. Plus, we'll work with them directly so you won't have to.
How's that sound?
Sorry, that's not our style!
Choosing individual stocks goes against our core investment philosophy. We utilize a broader approach of low- or no-cost index funds (and we really believe in this approach!) which we'll incorporate into a portfolio tailored to your needs.
